David Matson is a Polish-born & Lugano-based DJ known for progressive sound, long transitions and energy that builds instead of spikes. Melodic techno and progressive trance through the winter, house and afro house through the summer — every set prepared like a project and played like a conversation with the room.
He grew up immersed in trance and techno, discovering electronic music first from the dancefloor — as a raver, long before stepping behind the decks. That perspective shaped the way he understands atmosphere, emotion and the energy of a crowd.
Today, his sound moves across trance, progressive trance, melodic techno and techno, with house and Afro house adding another dimension to his musical spectrum. Rather than being defined by a single genre, David builds his sets around energy, progression and connection with the dancefloor — adapting naturally to clubs, festival-oriented sets and private events while maintaining his own sense of flow and storytelling.
David is the creator of The Set That Never Happened, an ongoing mix series with a new chapter — or special release — dropping every last Friday of the month.
